Whilst I’m no paris hilton I do have a love for the colour pink. I think it’s so flattering against my skintone and the cut and style of this dress made it an all round winner, with the added bonus of being super affordable.
After some poor thinking in terms of background on my part we made our way to the fields to really give this dress justice and show it off. It seems the flowers were in my favour as it’s a take on the lavender fields Instagram has seen as of late.
The square neckline and wide broderie sleeves make for feminine but work appropriate dress, it’s light in material but long in length, great for summer frolics and I think gives it that country, english rose vibe.
I’ve paired it with a mini bowling bag from Zara of the same hue and my barely there russell and bromley tan sandals (which have seen better days) to keep that light and airy, young feel. I’d love to see how it could be toughened up though; it reminds me of vogue shoots of long gowns with wellies on, though for me I think a pair of wedges or pointed heels is more likely.
Wedding appropriate, late lunches, garden parties you name it I think this dress can be worn anywhere. When I purchase it’s to keep so I’m glad to have nabbed this one.
